Chuck concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense. Chuck is able to scrutinize the strengths and weaknesses of injury and criminal cases given his experience from within the insurance industry and as a former prosecutor. This experience is an advantage, from pre-suit negotiations through the litigation process, to those who are injured or accused of crimes.

Before joining ECD Law, Chuck worked as staff counsel for a major insurance provider. He now uses that experience to advocate on the behalf of injured persons.

Chuck began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Sarasota County. Working for over six years at the State Attorney’s Office, he gained extensive motion practice and jury trial experience. He’s tried cases to verdict ranging from Murder, Firearms Offenses, Drug Trafficking, Capital Sexual Battery, Robbery, Burglary, and Aggravated Assault to misdemeanor Battery, DUl, and Obstruction of Justice. He also litigated White Collar and Traffic Homicide cases. While a prosecutor, Chuck taught Constitutional Law and Fourth Amendment Search and Seizure Law at a local police academy and within various law enforcement agencies.
