With over 25 years of experience, Sarasota criminal defense attorney Wyndel G. Darville was the lead attorney at The Law Office of Wyndel G. Darville, PLLC before joining Eastmoore, Crauwels, & DuBose in 2025. Known for his relentless pursuit of justice, Attorney Darville leaves no stone unturned in defending his clients, ensuring that every aspect of their case is thoroughly examined and vigorously challenged.

Attorney Darville brings an exceptional level of experience to his practice, having served as a civilian and military prosecutor, defense attorney, and Senior Defense Counsel for the United States Army Reserve. His background in both prosecution and defense allows him to identify and capitalize on the crucial details that can make or break a case. Whether handling felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile offenses, domestic violence allegations, or other complex criminal matters, Attorney Darville is equipped to navigate even the most difficult legal challenges.

A proud military veteran, Attorney Darville served in the United States Army and Army Reserves for 10 years. His military background instills in him a disciplined, methodical approach to his work, allowing him to pinpoint weaknesses in the prosecution’s case and exploit them to achieve favorable outcomes. As a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, Attorney Darville was honored with the Bronze Star for his service in a combat zone, demonstrating his commitment to duty and his country.

Attorney Darville’s courtroom experience is vast, having tried over 150 jury trials, including high-stakes cases such as murder and DUI offenses. Early in his career, he worked under the guidance of the respected Mr. Earl Moreland at the State Attorney’s Office, where he honed his litigation skills and developed an in-depth understanding of criminal law. His comprehensive experience allows him to approach each case with a unique perspective, providing his clients with an edge in the courtroom.

Mr. Darville is committed to education and service.  Attorney Darville earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Palm Beach Atlantic College in 1991 before pursuing his law degree at Southern University Law Center, where he was an active member of the Student Bar Association. Prior to law school, he worked as a teacher, a role that helped shape his passion for empowering others through education and self-advocacy.

Throughout his career, Attorney Darville has remained committed to supporting his community and the legal profession. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Sarasota County Bar Association, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL).
